About
Hi — I'm the
whole studio.
PongPong was a nickname before it was a business.
My grandmother started it and it never quite went away, so when I finally registered the company in 2019 it seemed dishonest to call it anything else. Six years on, it's still one person: I shoot, I edit, I send the invoices, and I answer the email you're about to send.
That's a limitation and a promise at the same time. I take fewer bookings than a studio would. But nothing gets handed to someone you haven't met, and nothing sits in a queue for four months.
The work runs from weddings to commercial sets, and the approach doesn't change much between them: turn up early, stay out of the way, and wait for the thing that was going to happen anyway.

Two full-frame mirrorless, plus a film body that comes out when the light deserves it.
35mm and 85mm primes do most of the work. A 70–200 for ceremonies.
Available light wherever possible. Strobes when the room gives me nothing.
Dual card slots, offloaded twice before I leave the location.
